Medical coverage
where the road
ends.

Wolfe Medical puts qualified medical personnel on the ground at races, remote worksites and back-country operations — the places an ambulance can’t reach quickly. Trackside response, on-site standby and the emergency plan that holds it all together.

02  /  The problem

Help is a long
way out.

A rider goes down two kilometres up a logging road. A faller is injured on a block with no cell service. A crew member drops on a location an hour from the nearest hospital. In every one of those situations the clock starts immediately — and public EMS is still a long way out.

Wolfe Medical closes that gap. We embed with your event or operation, bring our own kit and transport, and provide care from the moment something happens until the patient is stable, released, or handed off to BC Emergency Health Services.

03  /  Services

What we
provide.

Coverage is scoped to the risk in front of us — a one-day club race and a six-week remote project need very different plans. Every engagement starts with a conversation about your site, your hazards and your obligations.

01

Event medical standby

Dedicated medical staff and a fully stocked treatment area on site for the length of your event, from gate open to last rider out.

02

Trackside & trail response

Mobile response by bike, quad or truck — reaching riders on course, in the trees and beyond where a road ambulance can go.

03

Remote & industrial standby

On-site attendants for crews working beyond timely EMS response — forestry blocks, pipeline right-of-ways, remote construction and camp work.

04

Emergency response planning

Written ERPs, evacuation routes, helipad and rendezvous points, communication plans and the documentation your insurer and sanctioning body ask for.

05

First aid training

Practical, scenario-based training for marshals, crew and staff — so the people already on site know what to do in the first five minutes.

06

Kit & supply audits

Review of your existing first aid stations, restock lists and equipment recommendations sized to your crew, your hazards and your distance from care.

—  /  On site

The lights stay on until everyone is accounted for.

Coverage doesn’t end when the last race does. On multi-day events and camp operations we stay on site overnight — because injuries and illness don’t keep to a schedule.

04  /  Industries

Built in the dirt.
Ready for more.

Wolfe Medical was built covering off-road racing, and that’s still where you’ll find us most weekends. The skills that work there — remote access, austere conditions, long transport times, working out of a truck — transfer directly to any operation that puts people a long way from a hospital.

If your sector isn’t listed, ask anyway.

Ask us

Something else

Most operations with people, distance and risk are a fit. Tell us about yours.

05  /  How it works

Four steps to
covered.

Step 01

Tell us the plan

Dates, location, headcount, what people will be doing and how far you are from definitive care.

Step 02

Risk assessment

We assess the hazards and recommend a staffing and equipment level that actually matches them — no more, no less.

Step 03

Written plan & quote

You get a clear scope, an emergency response plan and a fixed quote before anything is booked.

Step 04

We show up

Set up before gate open, staffed the whole time you’re running, and a written report of anything we treat.

07  /  About

Cait Wolfe

Wolfe Medical is led by Cait Wolfe, who has spent years providing medical coverage at off-road races and back-country events across British Columbia — working out of a truck and a canopy, a long way from pavement.

That background shapes how the company works: practical, self-sufficient, and comfortable operating where the terrain, the weather and the distance are all working against you. Wolfe Medical is now extending that same standard of care to industry, production and remote operations province-wide.

08  /  Questions

Common
questions.

How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can — race weekends fill up fast through the season. That said, if you’ve had a cancellation or a last-minute requirement, get in touch anyway; we’ll tell you straight away whether we can cover it.
What area do you cover?
Based in British Columbia and mobile throughout the province. Travel, accommodation and remote-location logistics are quoted up front so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes. We arrive self-contained with treatment kit, immobilisation and packaging equipment, shelter and transport. If your site already has first aid infrastructure, we’ll work with it and tell you where the gaps are.
Can you help with our emergency response plan?
That’s often the most valuable part of the engagement. We can produce a written ERP covering evacuation routes, rendezvous and helipad locations, communications and escalation — the documentation sanctioning bodies and insurers typically want to see.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on duration, staffing level, location and equipment. Every quote is fixed and issued in writing before anything is confirmed. Send through your dates and details and we’ll come back with a number.
Are you a replacement for calling 911?
No. Wolfe Medical provides on-site care and stabilisation, and coordinates with BC Emergency Health Services for transport and definitive care. In an emergency, always call 911.
